Save the date! On Thursday, October 25, 2018, the New England Historic Genealogical Society and AmericanAncestors.org will honor the eminent author, presidential historian, and CNN contributor Douglas Brinkley with a dinner gala in his honor. Brinkley will be presented with the organization's Lifetime Achievement Award and a detailed genealogy of his family.
The patron reception before the dinner will honor two other friends of the organization: Brantley Bolling Knowles, President General of The Colonial Dames of America, and David Martin Trebing, Governor General of the General Society of Colonial Wars.
